Maison Colette House App

The private app the household and staff of Maison Colette, a villa in Marrakech, use to run the house.

It is not open to the public. It is for the owners and the people who work at the house.

What it does

• Jobs. Repairs and tasks around the house, reported with a photo, given to the right person and signed off when done.
• Kitchen. The week's menus, recipes, the shopping list and the inventory.
• Rota. Who is working when, with hours and leave.
• Maintenance. The yearly schedule for water, power, pool, garden and safety checks.
• Guests. What the house prepares before a stay and during it.

Signing in

The owners sign in with their Google account. The app asks Google for one thing, the email address of the account, and uses it only to check that the person is allowed in. Staff open the app from a personal link the house sends them on WhatsApp.

How that address is handled is set out in the privacy policy. The rules for using the app are in the terms.
